
As a native Swede, Christopher’s early life revolved around ice hockey, playing full-time as a professional in the US and later in Sweden. During this period, cooking food alone in front of a warm gas stove with some great 90s music in his ears became a ritualistic habit to unwind himself in an otherwise cold, lonely, and unforgiving environment.
He later graduated from Stockholm Royal School of Technology with a degree in construction technology and design, but the upswing of interest from his cooking made him change his path. With no formal training in the field, Christoper, 29 years old, has endeavored on a rather creative journey with no right and wrong, unlike his past where you either win or lose and where things either stand or fall.
As an outsider in the food industry, Christopher is somewhat of an anomaly that has been recognized for his personal and quirky way of doing things, which has led to the creation of his restaurant concept Bar Schiaciatte, published books through renowned publisher Bonnier, and 1,7 million followers on TikTok to name a few.
